Das Moto Guzzi Museum befindet sich in Mandello del Lario am Comer See. Genau hier wurde die legend\u00e4re Marke mit dem Adler im Jahr 1921 geboren.<\/p>\n\n

Am 15. M\u00e4rz 1921 gr\u00fcndeten der Heeresflieger Giorgio Parodi und sein Freund, der Flugzeugtechniker Carlo Guzii, mit der finanziellen Unterst\u00fctzung von Giorgo Vater Emanuele Vittorio Parodi in Genua die \u2018Aktiengesellschaft Moto Guzzi\u2019 mit einem Werk im italienischen St\u00e4dtchen Mandello del Lario.<\/p>\n\n

Wegen der engen Beziehung von Parodi und Guzzi zu Flugzeugen und zum Andenken an den dritten im Bund bei der Geburt der Idee, den kurz nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg abgest\u00fcrzten Giovanni Ravelli, ist das Firmenzeichen ein Adler mit ausgebreiteten Fluegeln.<\/a><\/p>\n\n

Im Ausstellungsbereich k\u00f6nnen mehr als 80 Fahrzeuge bewundert werden. Neben der Firmengeschichte erhalten die Besucher auch Einblicke in die soziale und wirtschaftliche Entwicklung des Landes.<\/a><\/p>\n\n

Ein Beispiel daf\u00fcr ist die Norge von 1928, die erste echte Tourenmaschine \u00fcberhaupt, die von Carlo und Giuseppe Guzzi pers\u00f6nlich entwickelt worden war.<\/a><\/p>\n\n

Motorr\u00e4der der Sport- und GT-Serie aus den 1930er Jahren fehlen ebenso wenig wie die zwischen 1939 und 1957 enorm popul\u00e4re Airone oder die legend\u00e4re Falcone, Traum vieler Motorrad-Enthusiasten in den 1950er Jahre.<\/p>\n\n

Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg waren zun\u00e4chst kleine, billige Transportger\u00e4te zur Massenmotorisierung gefragt.<\/p>\n\n

Die rapide zunehmende Nachfrage befriedigte Moto Guzzi mit dem ersten Zweitakter, der \u201eGuzzino\u201c 65. \u00dcber die Beteiligung am Rennsport wurde die Marke bekannt. H\u00f6hepunkt war der Gewinn der ersten 500-cm\u00b3-Europameisterschaft durch Guido Mentasti im Jahr 1924.<\/p>\n\n
